I find that you have spoken from your heart .We all desire to feel the heart beat of the Lord. We desire to walk in union and peace with the Lord.Above all else He wants us to be open and honest with Him.Even though He knows ,we are to verbalize our needs ,desires, ect. He tells us to ask,cry out, search diligently for him,and He will answer.Your prayer is one all should be praying.Just come naked but not ashamed. Stay Blessed.

Haven't read that one yet, but I have heard many good things about it. A good friend of mine just finished it and he was raving about it over coffee a couple of days back. It's on my list.

Hi Susan:

Yes, I have found the house church movement to be, on the whole, a highly positive area where the Spirit is working. And you are right about my experiences in China. It was in the house churches in particular where there was a spiritual vitality I have never seen before, whether in another country or here in the States. Most of the folks I met, not all but most, were highly committed brothers and sisters, strongly consecrated to the work to be done in establishing the kingdom. I learned much from them.

Blessings in His Light,

Mick

The Lord gently transitioned us into "house church many years ago before it became quite as well known and acceptable but in truth the Holy Spirit has been orchestrating the move out of traditional services for quite some time; it just took a while before a bunch of books were written about it.

As you must know from living in China, house church works well and has been the norm or only existing form of christian fellowship in many countries for decades, even centuries. Since the Book of Acts in fact!

It will continue to grow and morph as believers shed many of the unnecessary traditions and become more of a true community, and more outreach oriented.

Right now we are, well particularly I am isolated and deeply miss being part of a fellowship, any fellowship, and actively ministering to the Body of Christ.

Your prayers would be appreciated as my heart longs to be released from secular work back into full time ministry both here and abroad!

Every blessing and grace to you in Jesus,

I agree with you that the fight is not really worth it. I also took a look at your web site. It is great! I could spend hours there.

I know what you mean about the anger fundamentalists feel towards anyone seeking a spiritual path other than theirs. It really isn't worth fighting against. I'm not much interested in Buddhism because I have found my way on another path, but I respect the openness and goodness of it, and keep an open mind to its beauty.
